McCutchen House Dining

Due to COVID-19, all lunches, dinners and events at McCutchen House have been suspended until further notice. We will return to normal dining operations as soon as it is safe to do so.

The McCutchen House is more than a restaurant. It's a hands-on classroom where hospitality management students gain valuable experience in running a full-service restaurant. Below are the types of services we generally offer.

Bistro Lunch Dining

During regular semesters (non-COVID-19), and with the exception of university holidays, the McCutchen House hours of lunch service are Tuesday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. -1:00 p.m.

Thursday Dinners

These delicious four-course meals are served most Thursday nights during most fall and spring semesters. Guests 21+ may bring their own beer or wine.

Large Party Luncheons

McCutchen House is happy to accommodate your party of 12 or more with a menu designed to suit each of your guests. Lunches include tomato pie, flatbread and herbed butter, salad, choice of entrée and chocolate walnut pie. Beverages include sweetened and unsweetened tea, water and coffee.

Private Lunch Dining

Private dining on the 3rd floor of the McCutchen House in the Patterson Room is offered to any group of eight to 12 guests. Whether you are celebrating a special occasion with friends, arranging a unique business meeting or creating a memorable meal with out-of-town guests, this private board room style setting will be sure to please.

Garden Grill

Though not open this year,  generally during the summer months the McCutchen House patio is open for dining outdoors. The Garden Grill features grilled summer favorites: burgers, wraps,  salads and sandwiches.

Weddings and Special Events

Whether you are a bride looking for an exquisite backdrop for your wedding reception, or you would like to reserve a room for a corporate gathering, the McCutchen House can serve as a unique and memorable location for your special occasion. Horseshoe Catering can help you create the perfect event.

McCutchen House History
