The Black Awareness Group (BAG) of USC Lancaster provides an opportunity for any USCL student to plan and to participate in functions and activities directed toward promoting and creating a better understanding of African American culture and its great heritage.

Student Organizations

The mission of the University of South Carolina Lancaster Black Awareness Group is to communicate with all ethnicities and educate them of the past, present, and future issues of the black community.  We also yearn to inform today’s youth about the dangers of the use of drugs, alcohol, and sex.  In addition we also maintain a positive portrayal of us as a people.  We strive to establish the foundation to educate the public on issues within the black community and promote empowerment, stability, and strength of society and to do this all in a sophisticated and refined manner.
