Dr. Howard Kingkade’s
short dramatic screenplay, "Hole in the Paper
Sky", has been purchased
by Iron Ocean Films, co-owned by Los Angeles movie producer Michelle
Purple (Stealth, staring Jamie Foxx), and film and TV actress Jessica

around a Ph.D. Math student who risks all in order to save his
friend’s life.
Australian born film actor Jason Clarke, star of the Showtime
TV series “Brotherhood,” will
play the lead. Another featured actor will be director/actor Garry Marshall
(dir. Pretty Woman). William Purple, who has assistant directed a number
of feature films, including "Spiderman 3", "Mr. and Mrs. Smith",
"Charlie's Angels" and "The Patriot", will direct.
After a March premier in Los Angeles, the film will be entered into various
national and international film competitions.
Howard Kingkade, who has been teaching at USCL for five years, is no stranger
to the film industry, having worked in various commercials, feature films,
