As
a parent, you have been through quite a few changes with
your son or daughter.
Now you and your family face college, which may be one of
the biggest challenges yet. At USC
Lancaster, we try to help you meet that challenge by
providing Parent Orientation sessions that address questions
you may have about admissions, financial aid, tuition, academic policies, and other issues
facing you and your student.
If
your son or daughter will attend an Orientation session,
we encourage you to attend the corresponding Parent
Orientation:
June 11 • June
25 • July
23 • August 13
(preferably to correspond with your child’s chosen orientation date)
Parent
Orientation will be
in the Bradley Arts and Sciences Building Multipurpose Room. At
5:30 p.m., campus administrators will present information
on various topics, including registration, tuition/fee payment,
and financial aid. These administrators will also be
available to answer questions you have regarding your student's
college experience. After meeting with campus administrators,
you will be offered an optional campus tour led by USC Lancaster
Peer Advisors.
The Student Orientation fee covers the cost of Parent
Orientation, so there is no additional fee to attend Parent
Orientation.
We
hope you will consider attending Parent Orientation. If
you have further questions about Parent Orientation, or if
you would like to register for Parent Orientation, please
contact Laura
Humphrey at (803) 313-7066, or e-mail the Student
Activities office at humphrlb@mailbox.sc.edu. |
