to Medford Library's Introduction to Accessing Information on the World Wide Web

It may take 1 - 2 hours to complete this tutorial, depending on your proficiency with computers.

While primarily created to assist our USC Lancaster students in learning to use the World Wide Web and its use in college research, this tutorial is available to anyone to whom it may be of interest, as a public service. 

Special Instructions for UNIV 101 Students

If you are a USC Lancaster UNIV 101 student completing this tutorial as an assignment for UNIV 101, please understand the following:

bullet Each student must complete the tutorial individually. Read each of the pages in order.

bullet Most of this tutorial should be accessible from any Internet-connected computer.  However, there may be external links to articles in databases which are only available on campus.  If so, you will be expected to complete those parts of the tutorial on campus.  (In addition, the computer you are using will need to be configured to "accept cookies" in its browser preferences.)  USC Lancaster students have access to computers in any of the campus computer labs or in Medford Library.
