Student Services Program Coordinator I
(Dual Enrollment Coordinator)
Minimum Salary $28,337 annually
The position of Student Services Program Coordinator I (Dual Enrollment Coordinator) will coordinate USC Lancaster’s dual enrollment program by working closely with the Office of Academic Affairs, Office of Admissions, and the USCL Dean’s Office, as well as area high schools to provide a comprehensive program that affords students the opportunity to earn college credit while still attending high school. The Coordinator will be responsible for: planning, recruitment, coordinating the enrollment process, and continued promotion and awareness of the dual enrollment program to prospective students, parents, counselors, and teachers. The Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for the Dual Enrollment Program and will report to the Director of Enrollment Management. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and 1 year related experience in a student services field. Prior experience in student recruitment, public relations or working with students in a high school or college setting is preferred. The successful candidate must have excellent interpersonal, problem-solving and organizational skills with the ability to successfully manage multiple priorities and execute clear objectives. Strong oral and written communication skills, adaptable to a wide variety of audience is needed. The ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team as well as the ability to analyze information and exercise sound judgement in making decisions is required. Willingness to travel and be available for some evening and weekend work is required. This position offers the State of South Carolina benefits package.
