Student Services Program Coordinator II
(Counselor)
Band 5  Minimum Salary $38,166 annually

The Student Services Program Coordinator II (Counselor) will perform counseling duties for the USC Lancaster campus.  In addition to counseling this position will provide instruction for at least one course related to counseling (e.g. Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, etc.) per semester. The position requires a Masters degree in Student Personnel Services or related field and 4 years related experience, or bachelor’s degree and 6 years related experience. Appropriate licensure/certification by the State of South Carolina through the Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation for providing counseling services is required. The successful applicant must also have knowledge of American Psychological Association guidelines and best practices. The University of South Carolina Lancaster is now accepting applications for the following position:

Student Services Program Coordinator I
(Financial Aid Counselor)
Band 4  Minimum Salary $ 29,686 per year

The Student Services Program Coordinator I (Financial Aid Counselor) is responsible for processing applications and awarding student financial aid for a case load of no less than five hundred (500) individuals. The Financial Aid Counselor also assists the Director of Financial Aid in all aspects of the financial aid process and administration. Duties include counseling students about financial aid issues, processing financial aid applications (ISIR review, Verification), awarding financial aid, managing the regional campus responsibilities within the Direct Loan Program and private loans, and working other related reports on a regular and timely basis. The Financial Aid counselor will also be responsible for answering student and parent questions regarding financial aid eligibility and the application process. The Financial Aid Counselor is directly responsible for managing all loan programs for the institution. The position requires a Master’s degree in Student Personnel Services or related field, or a bachelor’s degree and two (2) years related experience. Successful applicants must have excellent customer service and communication skills. Two years experience in Student Financial Aid, the Direct Loan Program, Student Information Systems, knowledge of Federal and State Student Aid regulations, and basic accounting knowledge is preferred. Adjunct Faculty of Theatre/Speech (Public Speaking)

The University of South Carolina Lancaster, a regional campus of the University of South Carolina located approximately thirty-five (35) miles south of Charlotte, NC is accepting applications for an Adjunct Instructor of Theatre/Speech (Public Speaking). This position may include the offering of evening classes and distributed learning classes as needed. Course are compensated at a rate of $1,000 per credit hour. Applicants must possess a graduate degree in English, Rhetoric, Theatre, or related field, including credentials necessary for departmental approval to teach SPCH 140 (Public Communication). Preference will be given to candidates with experience teaching at the university level.
