Adjunct Faculty

The University of South Carolina Lancaster, a regional campus of the University of South Carolina located approximately thirty-five (35) miles south of Charlotte, NC is accepting applications for adjunct instructors in the following disciplines:

  • Economics
  • History
  • Mathematics
  • Political Science
  • Psychology
  • Theatre/Speech (Public Speaking)
  • Sociology

Candidates may be asked to teach daytime, evening, distance education, and off-campus courses as needed. Courses are compensated at a rate of $1,000 per credit hour. Applicants must possess a Master’s degree with 18 graduate credit hours in the discipline, with credentials necessary for departmental approval to teach courses. Preference will be given to candidates with experience teaching at the university level. Applicants should complete an Academic Personal Information application, as well as upload a cover letter specifically addressing the applicant’s qualifications and a curriculum vitae/resume online at http://uscjobs.sc.edu (Requisition # 008804). Adjunct Faculty of Theatre/Speech (Public Speaking)

The University of South Carolina Lancaster, a regional campus of the University of South Carolina located approximately thirty-five (35) miles south of Charlotte, NC is accepting applications for an Adjunct Instructor of Theatre/Speech (Public Speaking). This position may include the offering of evening classes and distributed learning classes as needed. Course are compensated at a rate of $1,000 per credit hour. Applicants must possess a graduate degree in English, Rhetoric, Theatre, or related field, including credentials necessary for departmental approval to teach SPCH 140 (Public Communication). Preference will be given to candidates with experience teaching at the university level.
