Student Services Program Coordinator I (Admissions Counselor/Recruiter)
Band 4 Minimum Salary $26,908 annually

The Student Services Program Coordinator I (Admissions Counselor/ Recruiter) will be responsible for coordinating the operations functions of the Admissions Office.  This position will also aid with recruiting efforts.  A majority of time will be spent processing applications and determining acceptance, preparing acceptance letters, permanent records, transfer credit summaries, and obtaining departmental approvals.  This position will also aid in supervising work-study students or student assistants employed in the department.  The successful applicant must be computer literate and have the ability to compile, analyze, and interpret data. Must have the ability to work effectively with students, faculty, parents, and the general public. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and one (1) year related experience in a student services field.  Experience working in an undergraduate college environment and familiarity with university admissions and financial aid processes is preferred. Adjunct Faculty - Physics

The University of South Carolina Lancaster, a regional campus of the University of South Carolina located approximately thirty-five (35) miles south of Charlotte, NC seeks qualified adjunct (part-time) faculty with credentials necessary for departmental approval to offer selected major and non-major Physics courses. Minimum requirements are a Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Physics.  A key attribute for the selected applicant is the willingness to work with under prepared students.  Preference will be given to candidates with experience teaching at the university level.  This appointment is on a course-by-course basis.  Applicants should complete an Academic Personal Information application as well as upload a letter of application, which specifically addresses the applicant's qualifications, a curriculum vitae/resume, and a list of references online at http://uscjobs.sc.edu (Requisition # 007319).  Official copies of graduate transcripts should be mailed to Adjunct Faculty - Physics; Attention Ms. Tracey Mobley Chavous; University of South Carolina Lancaster; P.O.
