The physical therapy clinic has an exercise gym with weight training equipment,
treadmills, upright and recumbent bikes and other exercise devices,
a movement analysis area for gait and balance assessment and training,
a pediatric therapy room, two private treatment rooms with equipment
for traction, ultrasound and electrical stimulation therapy.
Aquatic Therapy is available for individual and group treatment. The facility
houses a 25 meter heated indoor pool, equipped with a hydraulic
lift for people with disabilities.
Physican referral is required for participation in the
physical therapy program and services. Medical records must also
be provided.

The Speech Therapy at USC Lancaster provides outpatient
treatment for individuals affected by a speech and language delay/disorder.
A speech and language problem can be caused by numerous factors.
A fully qualified and licensed therapist can evaluate and treat
these individuals. Physician referral is required for a speech
evaluation and services. Speech and language therapy can benefit
individuals that have been diagnosed with any of the following:

Language delay/disorder: Individual
has difficulty understanding and/or expressing words or ideas.

Articulation disorder: Individual does
not make speech sounds correctly due to incorrect placement
or movement of the articulators (lips, tongue and jaw).

Rhythm or fluency disorder: Individual
has difficulty saying sounds, words, and phrases in smooth
flow.

Voice disorder: Individual exhibits
a hoarse, weak, and/or breathy voice sometimes due to vocal
abuse.

Dysphagia: Individual has difficulty
eating, drinking, and swallowing
