Prof. Fran Gardner's work was selected for publication in the Kakalak 2008 Anthology of Carolina Poets for the second year in a row.

In addition, Brittany Taylor's work was also selected, making this her first juried publication. Brittany is a former USC Lancaster student and will graduate with a Master's of Fine Arts in visual arts from Vermont College in February 2009.

 

 

Kakalak 2008 Anthology of Carolina Poets features poets and artists from South and North Carolina. The contest was more competitive than ever this year with about 140 images submitted and only 14% selected for publication.
