Fundamental Chemistry II Lecture and Lab
This course is a science elective surveying organic and biochemistry. It is the second of a terminal two-semester sequence.
Organic Chemistry I
Contemporary theories, nomenclature, reactions, mechanisms, and syntheses of carbon compounds. Required for chemistry majors. Three lecture hours per week. Prereq: CHEM 112 or CHEM 142.
This one credit hour laboratory course accompanies the BIOL 250 lecture, but the grading and credits are independent.
Description of biological macromolecules and major metabolic pathways. Cross-listed as BIOL 541. Three lecture hours per week. Prereq: CHEM 334 or the equivalent.
