One of the most positive and enduring aspects of this campus is the degree to which the surrounding community, a community that spans a six-county service area, loves and helps sustains this campus. We are fortunate to enjoy the support of the citizens of this region of South Carolina as well as that of leaders in business and government. There is no question that you will be challenged academically while you are a student here, but we hope too that the community support you’ll readily see and feel will also challenge you, in turn, to show your support to this campus and community for years to come.

While you’re here, take advantage of the many “extras” of college life. Be a spectator at one of our intercollegiate games or matches and cheer for the Lancers, attend a concert, lecture or film showing, take a day trip or a Travel Study trip to see new places. College is all about new experiences. I believe you’ll find that the co-curricular activities that abound at USC Lancaster will make your time with us all the more rich and rewarding.
