Realizing students seek career services for a variety of reasons related to career and job search goals, we seek to meet you where you are in the process.  This could mean you are in process of deciding on a major or it could mean you are nearing graduation and need assistance with your job search.  Whatever the reason, we want to provide you with services that will lead to a brighter future for you.  Check out some of the following ways you can be assisted through USCL Career Services:

Career Counseling – Discuss your career plans and to learn more about what majors match your interests, personality and values.  You will have access to some of the best career guidance tools available – the Strong Interest Inventory, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and the FOCUS-2 career guidance system.  The combination of these assessments will give you helpful insights about how you fit into the career world and will lead you to select a major that will help you meet your career goals. 

Resumé Assistance – Whether you have a resume you would like reviewed or have yet to develop one, it is a good idea to make sure you are ready to present yourself to employers with confidence.  We can discuss best approaches to beginning a resume or to review one you have already developed. 

Job Search Strategies – Needing to begin a job search but not sure where to start?  Come in to learn about strategies for a successful job search, including interview preparation techniques.
