Description:

York County Board of DSN is seeking a part-time apprentice to support the Accounting Team by cross training with team members and learning their jobs as well as those of the Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Candidate will also train in HUD tenant processing and project requirements. Upon successful completion of apprenticeship and supervisory training, candidate will assume full time status and supervisory responsibility for current accounting staff members.

 

Working hours while part-time will be flexible.  After becoming full time, hours will change to 8:30 am – 5:00 pm Monday thru Friday w flexibility required.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business with a major in Accounting or pending completion within twelve months of hire.  Must have successfully completed four or more college level accounting courses prior to assuming apprenticeship.  Official transcript is required.  Must be proficient with computers, spreadsheets, and Microsoft based software programs as well as accounting software.
