Payment Options:


  • Pay by Mail -- send check or money order to USCL Business Office, P. O. Box 889, Lancaster, SC 29721-0889. Payment must be RECEIVED in the Business Office no later than January 4, 2008. Include copy of Schedule and Bill from the Virtual Information Processing (VIP) system.
  • Pay On-line -- If your financial aid equals or exceeds your tuition and fees, you may pay on-line using the VIP system. To pay on-line, direct your web browser to VIP at http://vip.sc.edu. If financial aid does not exceed tuition and fees, you may pay on-line using MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.  Only MasterCard, Discover and American Express credit cards are accepted.  A convenience fee of 2.5% is charged on each credit card transaction.
  • Walk-in Payments -- You may pay tuition and fees in the Business Office, Starr Hall - Room 120, on January 9 and 10, 2008, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and between 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. both days. However, to avoid long lines and waiting, you are encouraged to pay by mail or on-line. Walk-in payment options include cash, debit card, money order, MasterCard, VISA, American Express, and Discover Card.
  • eCheck -- There is no convenience fee when using eChecks.  The eCheck option uses secure web transmission for electronically deducting payments from a personal checking account using VIP.  Your bank routing number and account number are required when making eCheck payments.  Direct your web browser to http://vip.sc.edu.
Parking

Parking decals are issued in the Business Office and are to be displayed on vehicles of all students, faculty, and staff.  Parking fines are payable in the Business Office.  Further parking regulation information can be found on page 54 in the USCL Student Handbook.

The CarolinaCard

University policy requires all students, faculty and staff to have a USC photo ID card, the CarolinaCard, on their person while on campus. Photos for the CarolinaCard are made in the Business Office.  A student may pick up his/her CarolinaCard after all tuition and fees have been paid.
