Pre-Baccalaureate Fields of Study

USC Lancaster also offers courses from a number of fields of study which may be applied toward a baccalaureate degree.  Spanish classGenerally, the first two years of study may be completed at USC Lancaster in the following areas:  business administration, criminal justice, education, applied professions, journalism, liberal arts, physical education, and science and mathematics.  Due to the large number of specialized courses, students may not be able to complete the full two years of study in the following areas:  four-year nursing, pharmacy, computer science, and engineering.

Each college within the University system stipulates specific requirements that must be met in order to obtain a baccalaureate degree.  Students interested in baccalaureate degree programs should consult the Columbia campus catalog for a complete list of requirements stipulated by each department or view Columbia's internet site at www.sc.edu.
