GYPSY POTS. Ive always laid it to the white people to give the gypsy pot that name. But that was really a medicine pot; the Indians, you know, used to make medicine in it, and I imagine that the white people saw gypsies with these pots that they told fortunes in, you know. It was just made like a wash pot. . . .
